ABOUT BRIGHTON PHOTO FRINGE
Brighton Photo Fringe works from the creative cluster in Brighton & Hove to support photographers and lens-based artists across the South East coast. We create platforms for new talent; nurture collaboration and collective working; and enable all kinds of people to enjoy and experiment with photography.
Established in 2003, Brighton Photo Fringe (BPF) was set up by local photographers as a response to the international Brighton Photo Biennial. With increasing numbers of participants and visitors, over the years BPF has expanded to become one of the largest festivals of it's kind in the UK.
While the festival is the keynote event in the Photo Fringe biennial programme, we also coordinate year-round activity including monthly networking meetings for lens-based artists and photographers; workshops and events; international collaborations and exhibition opportunities.
Brighton Photo Fringe is a registered charity, and is led by a Board of Trustees: Rebecca Drew (Chair), Helen Cammock, Emma Critchley, Fergus Heron, Chloe Hoare, Kay Watson and Martin Seeds.
