Casting Off

Julia Biro, Yolanda Crisp, Tamsin Green, Susanne Hakuba, Zara Pears, Kim Thornton, Verity Welstead

29 September–28 October

Mon–Wed 00:00–00:00
Thu–Fri 13:00–19:00
Sat–Sun 11:00–17:00

For this group show seven photographers have come together
to respond and engage upon the theme of Casting Off.
Each photographer brings their own individual perception to the theme
but all share a common interest in examining what casting off means to them in relation to their work.
The projects on show cover a range of concepts, subjects and ideas, and explore history, topographic survey, hauntology, memory, illness,
societal expectations and gender stereotypes.
