Umoja (Unity)

Chris J Dade and the children of 'Harambee for Kenya'

5–11 October

Mon–Sun 10:00–18:00

Umoja (Unity in Swahili) is the intimate account of just a few voices of the 300,000 children who live on the streets of Kenya. Told through the images of photographer, Chris J Dade, and words and pictures from the children themselves, it is a testament to the global issues that many children now face. It is the story of hope found in the most impossible of places, and a call to come together in an increasingly dysfunctional world, offering an insight relevant to every life.
