MAP6: The Shetland Project

Richard Chivers, Phil Le Gal, Mitch Karunaratne, Heather Shuker, David Sterry & Paul Walsh

29 September–27 October

Wed - Sun 11am-Wed - Sun 5pm

In 2018, 6 photographers spent 6 days capturing a contemporary portrait of the Shetland Islands. With each project MAP6 approach a location unfamiliar to each member, out of the need to document the nuances that give a speci c place its own unique characteristics. These photographic documents can help us to re ect on the environments where we live, and may help us to understand our place in an increasingly complex, unstable world.
